I prepared this guide as a bit of an aside from my latest carputer install, which was my wifi antenna. This will however be of benefit if you need to replace the rear bumper on the Corolla. Its a straightforward job
1. Open the boot and remove the linder

Here you can see the mess of wiring that is my carputer install (this is the wifi antenna and rearview camera) . Its not like that now!

2. Using a socket/spanner (10mm), remove the bolts holding the plastric trim.

Same on the other side

3. Remove the plastic trim

4. Now using a deep socket, remove the nuts from the studs which hold the bumper on, there are 2 that you can get at now.

5. Pull the carpet back.

6. Remove the nuts holding the light clusters on

7. Disconnect the plug from the light clusters.

8. Your car should look something like this. You can see where I put the camera in.

9. Now working in the wheel arches, remove the screw that holds the bumper to the arch.

10. Working underneath the car, these pop clips need to be remove, lift the round button head out, then the entire clip should come out. there are about 8 clips in various positions at the bottom, just follow the bumper round. Additionally there are a couple of screws near the rear wheel arches that need to be removed.

11. Working from a wheel arch, pull the bumper outwards, there may be quite a lot of resistance, If its cold, I suggest warming the plastic with a hairdryer.

12. Pull away the bumper near the light cluster and keep working your way round.

13. Having worked all the way round, you should have something looking like this.

14. All that ballache to install this
